In my garden (I live in western PA), only rhubarb, cilantro and parsley are growing. Just paid 2.79 for about 5 basil leaves in the grocery store- YIKES! - our CSA doesn't start until June - it's so hard to wait!
A Girl: that's me, although I'm not sure I qualify anymore at 34.
A Market: the Farmers Market is where you will find me on Sunday mornings. Otherwise, I'll be roaming the aisles at Bristol Farms, Whole Foods, or Trader Joes.
A Meal: something seasonal, something fresh, something simple, and something delicious.
Alison is a recipe developer and stay-at-home mom, obsessed with her next meal and passionate about buying her food from local growers, which in Southern California shouldn't be difficult, but is harder than it sounds. Luckily, she spends summers in gorgeous Cape Cod, where farm-fresh food is as accessible as it is delicious.
